The Master of Education degree with a concentration in Teaching and Learning is a fully online program for working K-12 educators that offers students coursework to expand their understanding of teaching and learning to design innovative and equitable lessons, activities, and learning environments to promote student success.
Courses are designed to prepare teachers to sit for National Board Certification. Our strong curriculum and experienced faculty will equip you with the knowledge and professional skills you need to stand out as a leader in the classroom.
Our program offers an optional path to a teaching licensure while completing your advanced degree.* In addition to the graduate-level coursework for the masters, students will take the required undergraduate education courses needed for licensure in any of the following content areas:
Chemistry | Communication Arts/Literature | Life Science | Math | Social Studies | Business Education
*Teaching licensure is not available to acquire independently from the master's program. Students must apply for the master's program to complete licensure coursework embedded within the program.
Contact the program director, Dr. Cassandra Glynn, if you are interested in a master's plus licensure option.
