Mocko is an associate professor of  and the director of at Å·ÃÀÊÓƵ. She specializes in the study of religion and culture, focusing on South Asia, particularly Nepal. Her academic work includes research on ritual practices, political transitions, and religious traditions.

She has been teaching at Concordia since 2012. In 2023, Mocko was presented with the Ole and Lucy Flaat Distinguished Teaching Award for excellence both inside and outside the classroom.
