Tintinnabula accepts 13-15 handbell musicians who are chosen by audition at the beginning of each school year. The ensemble performs in on-campus concerts, prior to the Concordia Christmas Concerts, and tours regionally each spring. Students are also given opportunities to play in regional festivals, perform solos and in small ensembles, and student conduct.
Campana is Concordia’s second bell choir, forming in years with sufficient student interest. It accepts students with musical backgrounds but new to ringing handbells.
Tintinnabula and Campana are both conducted by Jessica Westgard Larson, and rehearse Tuesday and Thursday evenings throughout the school year.
Concordia is a member of Handbell Musicians of America.
